Thank You Very Mochi Greeting Card | Arigatou Gozai-Mochi Greeting Card | Japanese Food Greeting Card

This scrumptious handmade card features a sweet thank you message, and hand-drawn digital watercolor illustrations of various shapes and types of mochi to show your gratitude and appreciation. This super kawaii greeting card was inspired by my childhood, eating different kinds of mochi, or Japanese sweet rice cakes at family events, including my Grandma’s handmade new year’s anko mochi with azuki red bean paste inside, kinako mochi (soybean powder mochi) from the Japanese markets at family gatherings, and even sharing sweet mochi ice creams with my favorite green tea flavor with friends. I was delighted to find out that the possibilities of flavors and shapes of mochi are endless, usually showcasing seasonal fruits and ingredients of the times - and included some of the most charming ones I’ve seen (such as sakura mochi, peach flavored mochi, kaki persimmon mochi, and more) in these drawings, to bring a little sweetness and joy to the ones we want to say "thank you" to. ₍ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎

⋆˚✿˖° HOW WE MAKE OUR ART ⋆˚✿˖° 

Each hand-drawn greeting card is individually-made with colorful inspiration and intention. I first sketch or illustrate each design by hand on paper or the iPad, then make edits using Procreate and Photoshop for color correction and compositional placement.  Every card is then printed locally at home on 100% recycled card stock paper, with a high quality eco-tank printer, and my mom, aunties, and I then fold and/or hand-score, and package each card with a kraft paper envelope and a clear cellophane sleeve for protection. It then safely makes its journey to your hands and home! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა ⋆˚✿˖°
